| Hand dyed purple silk using a resist technique to randomly expose the
natural color of the silk. Embellished with beads and tiny silk flowers. Wings are hand
painted, of course! Each rock or stand is individually hand sculpted of colored rock plaster, painted, distressed and decorated to coordinate with the porcelain figure. While some have moss and flowers, others may have shells, mica chips, pearls or even mirrors embedded in the rock or stand. The bottoms are covered with felt to prevent scratches on furniture. |
